Maisy, an anxious Border Collie

Maisy, a 3-year-old Border Collie, was brought to us for help with a range of behaviours including nipping at people leaving the house, reactivity on walks and general anxiety.

Maisy had been seen by 3 trainers before us and had not responded well to the methods they used. However, she has a very committed owner who is willing to put a lot of work in.

We've been working with Maisy for a few weeks now and there are already signs of progress. Maisy is now off lead interacting with other dogs and people. Muzzle training has gone well. Obedience work is improving steadily and her recall is fabulous.

She is a great advert for positive rewards based methods.

What Maisy's owner Yvonne said:

"I can not express how much it has meant to us as a family to finally have our Maisy girl making such positive progress in every way. Seeing her so very happy off lead for the first time on Christmas Eve was the ultimate Christmas gift. Deb and Pam are amazing, they work with Maisy’s quirkiness rather than try to change her nature. I will always be so very grateful to them both; many more sessions to go, but the few we have had, have never ever been achieved by other trainers."
